HOW WE STARTED

Dogrobes, the original dog drying coats, were designed in 2004 by my friend, Ann Playle, an experienced working dog trainer.

Ann had eight muddy, wet labs sharing her home and came up with the idea of a practical dog drying coat to solve the perennial problem of wet dogs and muddy shake off.

When Ann decided to retire in 2013, I was becoming an empty nester. So I took over and began sewing Dogrobes.

HOW WE'VE GROWN

We’ve made some tweaks to make Dogrobes even better than before.

Plus we’ve introduced new accessories allowing us to provide the complete solution to drying wet dogs.

From our Scottish base, we’ve sent our dog drying coat to every UK postcode area and have over 100 UK stockists.

We now sell internationally to Europe, the USA and Canada, as well as Australia and New Zealand.

WHAT MATTERS TO US

We are a family-owned business with strong values of excellent product quality and excellent customer service.

Every product is backed by our no quibble returns and we are extremely proud of our 5-star reviews on our Dogrobes and other dog drying accessories.

Dogrobes are not only designed but MADE in Britain.

It’s important to us to support British manufacturing and keep quality control and supply close to home.

Thanks to our customers buying our products, we are able to support a different dog rescue charity every few years.
Since 2013 we’ve given over £10,000 to charities across the country and we’d like to thank you for your continued support.
Currently we're supporting Dementia Dogs.

SEE YOU SOON

2020 has been a bit of nightmare - I hope that we’ll catch up at one of the UK-wide events in next year's calendar.

We love nothing better than hearing from you, listening to your feedback and what you'd like us to do next, so get in touch.
